Bohuslav Lantner

Anno 1905. Bohuslav Lantner was born in 1862 and worked in several German cities. Established at Prague in 1891. Modelling after Stradivarius and Guarnerius. Early instruments have spirit varnish and later, a handsome red brown of soft texture. Excellent tone, fairly robust and undeniably mellowish. Please call for detail information.

Robert Glier (1855-1924) was Markneukirchen maker who emigrated to the USA in 1885. He was sent to work for Wurlitzer music company in 1883 and later established his own shop in Cincinnati.
